In the article, reasons and background of the conflicts in the former Soviet Union are analyzed. Criteria for full and comprehensive investigation of these conflicts and for their tipologization are chose. Parallels between the conflicts are carried out and some of their differences are specified. In the article, also the new type of conflicts is described, to which conflict in Ukraine can be referred. Typologization is an important part of any research. By choosing right criteria determines the effectiveness and quality of scientific work, the forecast for similar situations can be made. So, studing conflicts in the former Soviet Union can help to make some forecast and find possible solutions for Donbass crisis. The conflicts in the former Soviet Union can be referred to the intra civilization, internal internationalized conflict. Common feature for them is also ethnic character, which usually serves as cover for more serious frauds. The conflicts in the former Soviet Union develop on similar scenario. It can depends on influence of external factors on conflict course. So, in the article, also analyzed influence of the most powerful state in this region – Russian Federation.References
